ZOO TRIP!!!

Zoo Trip

On the 28th  of july Rm 18 got a big opportunity   to go the Auckland zoo to learn more about  wetas because we want to redesign weta houses so they don’t become extinct. It was all paid for  by south sci.First we got print trackers and weta houses we had to choose where we put it. After

that we had a man named dawn who brought in the largest weta called

wetapunga.It   sad that they only have one more.We learnt a lot about dna and a number of facts.

PREP!!!!

Prep

On the 5th of July the whole year five and six did prep.My group did a service and it was games.We made a lot of money and when we ran out of whip cream we were stuck but we sorted it out.My favourite table display was the Bombastic and the best product was mythical fusion because they made pizza and it was delicious.I liked that i was in the bank because I got extra wages.It was really difficutult we because i didn’t get to buy a lot of stuff because i was too busy at the bank.I bought a lot of pizza and bubbles.At the end i finally got to eat.I didn't like we had to charge people $40 dollars or over it was spectacular  fun.

Maiatime mueseum

Maritime Museum

On the 30st  of June the year six syndicate went to the Maritime Museum. Group one  went on the waka first.The waka was called Aotearoa One. Some people got to go under the deck of the waka and see some beds it was heaps of fun.After the waka

we went into a room to watch some videos about our voyagers.Next we got to see a canon get fired at twelve o'clock  so that meant that it was afternoon and the workers Could have   lunch it was loud but small.We got to see some wakas in a room and there was a lot of cool ones.We learnt that our ancestors used coconut to make their rope and the wood from the tree.The lady that was taking us let us make a cross out of rope and wood.Next we just went for a

tour around the museum.We had objects to find like small animals  and the titanic ship.Our group done some puzzles.Then it was time to go.
